Registration Requirements

The Cayman Islands will accept private pleasure yachts and commercial yachts of any size that are based and operated anywhere in the world. The yacht must be owned by a majority of qualified persons. These include citizens of the Cayman Islands, United Kingdom, British Territories and Crown Dependencies, persons who are nationals or citizens of a member state of the EU, EEC, or a substantial number of approved countries. Companies having a principal business in, or a partnership established in such countries will also qualify.
